Crowell sentenced to house arrest
Walter Sydney Crowell, 18, of Amherst, was sentenced to six-months house arrest, followed by a six-months curfew, fined $260 and handed a 10-year firearm prohibition after pleading guilty to possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking and possession of marijuana resin for the purpose of trafficking.
The incidents occurred Dec. 14, 2017, in Amherst.
Vanderweil handed probation
Alexander Riley Vanderwiel, 21, of Amherst, was handed six-months probation with conditions after pleading guilty to a count of fraud.
The incident occurred Jan. 20, 2018, in Amherst.
