Rushton sentenced for committing assault
Richard Rushton, 50, of Fort Lawrence, was sentenced in court to a suspended sentence and 14-months of probation, plus a $100 fine, after he pleaded guilty to committing assault and knowingly uttering a threat to cause bodily harm to the person he assaulted.
The incidents occurred between Sept.1, 2017, and July 6, 2018 in Fort Lawrence.
Jewkes sentenced for committing assault
Travis James Lee Jewkes, 24, of Springhill, was sentenced in court on Monday to 59 days custody after pleading guilty to assault causing bodily harm, failing to comply with an order to not drink alcohol, and failing to comply with an order to not have direct, or indirect contact, with a certain person.
The incidents occurred May 30, 2018, in Amherst
