Adams gets 30 days

Roy Adams, 38, of Cochrane, Alta. was sentenced to 30 days in custody after pleading guilty to assault.

The sentence will be served consecutively to a present sentence.

The incident occurred May 1, 2014 in Fort Nelson, B.C.

Taylor found guilty of drug charges

Walter Francis Taylor, 46, of Russell Street was ordered to return for sentencing on Oct. 1 at 11 a.m. after being found guilty of trafficking methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking and the included offence of possession of cannabis.

A pre-sentence report was requested.

The incidents occurred Nov. 18, 2015 in Amherst.

Warner gets federal time

John Alan Russell Warner, 37, of Queen Street, Springhill was sentenced to three years in prison, to be served consecutively to other sentences being served, for two counts of unlawful possession of a restricted firearm – a .22 caliber revolver, possessing a restricted weapon without a licence and possessing a restricted weapon while prohibited.

The weapon was forfeited and he must supply a DNA sample. He is also banned for life from owning or possession firearms or ammunition.

The incidents occurred Feb. 20 in Hansford.

Chappell sentenced for refusing breathalyzer

Thomas Claude Chappell, 63, of Tyndal Road was fined $1,000 plus a $300 victim surcharge after pleading guilty to refusing the breatalyser.

He is also prohibited from driving for a year.

The incident occurred Aug. 2, 2016 in Tidnish.

Fraser fined for fishing clams in closed area

Robert Fraser, 52, of Charlottetown, P.E.I. was fined $500 for fishing clams in a closed area.

The incident occurred April 2, 2018 in Lorneville

MacArthur sentenced for mischief

Michelle Dawn MacArthur, 36, of Rideau Street, Oxford was granted a conditional discharge following six months probation after pleading guilty to committing public mischief by making a false statement.

She was also ordered to pay a $100 victim surcharge.

The incident occurred May 12, 2018 in Oxford.

Parsons pleads guilty faliing recognizance order

Donald Percy Alan Parsons, 28, of East Victoria Street, Amherst was ordered to return for sentencing on Sept. 24 at 1:30 p.m. after pleading guilty to failing to comply with a recognizance order that he abide by a daily curfew from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

A pre-sentence report was requested.

The incident occurred Nov. 18, 2017 in Amherst.
