A 57-year-old man from Amherst is facing charges after police seized methamphetamine tablets, cannabis marihuana, cash and other items indicative of drug trafficking during a search March 2.
The Cumberland County Integrated Street Crime Unit, with the assistance of the Amherst Police Department, executed the search warrant at a home on Croft Street in Amherst.
The unidentified mab was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Amherst Provincial Court on April 23 for the following charges:
· Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking
· Possession of Cannabis Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking.
