AMHERST, N.S. – An Amherst company is changing its name.
Bluewave Energy, a division of Parkland Fuel Corporation and a local distributor of heating oil, fuel, propane and lubricants for residential and commercial businesses, announced Wednesday the branch located at 61 South Albion St., has been changed to Ultramar.
With Bluewave Energy welcoming Ultramar to the family, the two brands have joined forces to bring residential and commercial customers best in class fuel service, delivery and value in the region with the same ongoing commitment to service excellence.

We are excited to bring together our resources to be Amherst’s leader in energy services for high quality fuel at competitive prices.”
Bluewave Energy and Ultramar are part of the family of brands owned or used under license by Parkland Fuel Corporation.
