A Lunenburg County man has been charged with allegedly pointing a gun at someone Friday night.
Lunenburg District RCMP responded to a Blockhouse residence at 11 p.m. They talked a man into leaving the residence and arrested the 19-year-old without incident, RCMP said in a news release.
Numerous weapons were also seized from the home. No injuries were reported.
The people involved in the incident know each other, RCMP said. They did not provide any details on the alleged victim.
The suspect was released from custody on conditions. He is scheduled to appear in Bridgewater provincial court on Jan.22, 2020.
He faces charges of careless use of a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, unauthorized possession of a weapon, possession of a firearm knowing possession is unauthorized and uttering threats.
