Amherst Police continuing to seek armed robbery suspect

AMHERST, N.S. – Amherst Police are continuing to investigate an armed robbery at Needs convenience store on Jan. 25.

Police say the suspect was wearing a green/black two-tone jacket and grey pants with black print while the suspect’s face was partially covered.

The suspect, who was brandishing a knife, left with a quantity of items.

The suspect appeared to be Caucasan and approximately 5’6” tall.

No one was hurt in the incident.

Police seized several items of clothing the suspect discarded after the robbery.
