Community cleanup scheduled for April 29

The weather has been unusually chilly for mid-April. Some residents are still burning wood to keep warm in the mornings and evenings.  

I am enjoying the hockey playoffs and am suffering through the dismal start of the Blue Jays. Hopefully, things will turn around quickly for the Jays.
On Tuesday, April 25, the Shore Drive Community Development Association will meet at the Diligent River hall, beginning at 7 p.m. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
The community cleanup is scheduled for our area on Saturday, April 29. Please meet at the FPW Fire Hall at 8:30 a.m. to pick up bags, gloves, safety vests, etc. It is always nice to see families take part each year.
Soon, it will be time for cottagers to open up their cottages and for our American summer homeowners to arrive.
