It is strange to look out and see bare ground at this time of year. We have had little snow and, the few times it has snowed, rain has quickly followed. The landscape may change to white yet.

I enjoyed watching the NHL All Star events and do look forward to MLB spring training games.

I extend my sympathy to the friends and families of Dave Heckbert of Wards Brook and Duncan Morris of Fox River who both passed away recently.

Grace United and Holy Trinity Anglican churches are having a tea and bake sale on Sunday, Feb. 11 from 1-3 p.m. at the FPW Fire Hall. Be sure to drop over and enjoy a sandwich, socializing, and buying some delicious baked goods in support of the churches.
