Maltby beats J&K in AAHL action

AMHERST – Maltby Sports handed J&K Electric their third loss of the season during recent Amherst Adult Hockey League action.

Jordie Shaw led Maltby with three goals and three assists in their 12-9 win, Aaron Dobson scored three goals, Ian McCarthy and Corey Robichaud scored two goals and three assists each, and Chris Sproul scored two goals and one assist.

Jon Tattrie added three assists for Maltby, Bill Davison and Scott Dicks had two helpers each and Dan Anger added one assist.

Kurtis Langille scored three goals and one assist for J&K and Chuck Chandler scored two goals and one assist.

Ryan Smith scored one goal and four assists, Dave Atkinson added one goal and three assists, Andy Bonnell one goal and one assist, and Rob Scott one goal.

Greg Brennan and Mike Gould had two assists each.

Kristy Brown got the win in goal for Maltby, and Cody Hunter the loss.

Standings

J&K leads the league with 23 points, Maltby is second with 19, and Bluewave Energy and Colson Overhead Doors are tied with 10 points each.

Ryan Smith continues to lead the league with 61 points, 33 goals and 28 assists in 16 games.

Jordie Shaw is second with 45 points, 30 goals and 15 assists in 16 games.

Matt Colson is fifth with 35 points, 19 goals and 16 assists in 15 games.

Kurtis Langille is sixth with 30 points, 15 goals and 15 assists in 16 games.

Chris Sproul is seventh with 29 points, 18 goals and 11 assists in 16 games.

Bill Jobes is eighth in the league with 28 points, 10 goals and 18 assists in 15 games.

Aaron Dobson is ninth in the league with 27 points, seven goals and 20 assists in 15 games.

Joel Stone is tenth in the league standings with 26 points, nine goals and 17 assists in 14 games.
