PARRSBORO – Maxwell Hoar and Kelsey Dinault were named the male and female athletes of the year at Parrsboro Regional High School during its annual awards banquet on June 5.

Alex Goodwin and Haley Harrison were named winners of the Ricky Hunter Memorial Award with coach Randy Elliott being presented the Eldon Falkenham Memorial Award.

In boy’s soccer Maxwell Hoar was named MVP with Cole Dowe winning the most improved player award and Kaleb Lunn the Fairplay Award.

Kelsey Dinault won the MVP award on the girl’s soccer team with Hannah Tower earning most improved player honours and Madison Tennant the Fairplay Award.

The boy’s volleyball team presented the MVP trophy to Jacob Willigar with Alex Goodwin being named most improved player and Connor Campbell the Fairplay Award. The girl’s volleyball team named Haley Harrison as MVP, Meana Oliveira the most improved player and Jordan Shea the Fairplay Award winner.

Maxell Hoar was the MVP of the badminton team with Ben Babineau earning most improved player honours and Erin Trottier the Fairplay Award.

Maxwell Hoard was selected as the boy’s basketball team’s MVP with Alex Goodwin earning most improved player honours and Jacob Willigar the recipient of the Fairplay Award.

In archery, Hannah Dickinson was named the MVP, Tasha Babineau and Hunter Wagstaff shared the most improved player award and Colton Flecknell was named the winner of the Fairplay Award.

Kelsey Dinault was the MVP of the girl’s softball team with Kenzie Ferdinand winning the most improved player award and Sky Yorke the Fairplay Award with Maxwell Hoar being named MVP of the boy’s softball team, Alex Goodwin the most improved player and Tyler Millard-Hatfield at the winner of the Fairplay Award.
