Colson, J&K beat Maltby, Bluewave in Amherst Adult Hockey

AMHERST – Amherst Adult Hockey League action continued this week with two games.

Maltby Sports vs. Colson Overhead Doors

Colson Overhead Doors beat Maltby Sports 11-4 during Amherst Adult Hockey League action Thursday night at the Richard Calder Arena in Springhill.

Phil Farrow had seven points, three goals and four assists in the win and Danny Small had six points, three goals and three assists.

Russell Scott added two goals and four assists, Ryan Reynolds had two goals, and Brad Linkletter scored one goal and one assist. Mark Black had three assists, and Bill Jobes two assists.

Jordie Shaw scored two goals for Maltby, and Chris Sproul and Jon Tattrie scored one goal and one assist each.

Aaron Dobson added two assists, and Dan Anger, Scott Dicks and Chris Dwyer scored one assist each.

Kristy Brown got the win in goal and Jarret Munn the loss.

J&K Electric vs. Bluewave Energy

Ryan Smith led J&K Electric to a 6-1 win over Bluewave Energy Tuesday night at Amherst Stadium with two goals and two assists.

Dave Atkinson added one goal and two assists, and Rob Scott, Andy Bonnell, and Jordan Bennett scored one goal each.

Mike Gould added two assists, and Alex Matthews, Mark Bennett, and Allan MacEachern scored one assist each.

Brian Meyers scored or Bluewave, with Luke Crocker and Marshall MacDonald assisting on the goal.

J&K had 29 shots on Bluewave goaltender Justin Brown, and Bluewave had 26 shots on J&K goaltender Remi Thomas.

Standings

J&K Electric leads the AAHL with 26 points, Maltby Sports has 19, Colson Overhead Doors 14, and Bluewave Energy has 11 points.

Point Leaders

Ryan Smith leads the AAHL with 66 points, 35 goals and 31 assists in 17 games.

Jordie Shaw is second with 47 points, 32 goals and 15 assists in 17 games.

Jon Tattrie is third with 45 points, 19 goals and 26 assists in 17 games.

Marshall MacDonald is fourth with 42 points, 33 goals and nine assists in 14 games.

Matt Colson is fifth with 38 points, 21 goals and 17 assists 16 games.

AAHL action continues Sunday night at 8:45 p.m. at Amherst Stadium with Maltby Sports playing J&K Electric.
