SPRINGHILL, N.S. – The Cumberland County Blues lost 7-5 to the East Hants Penguins Friday night in Springhill.

Reuben MacKenzie scored two goals for the Blues in the loss, Brody Deegans scored one goal and one assist, and Keegan Marcott and Alex Campbell scored on goal each.

Avery Clow, Alexander Clark and Kolby Grant had one assist each.

Pierrick Heudes played in goal for the Blues. He stopped 40 of the 47 shots he faced.

His teammates had 37 shots on the Penguins net.

Blues vs. Scotians

The Blues lost to the Pictou County Scotians Sunday night in Trenton by a score of 11-3

Madison Colford, Hayden Boutilier and Landen Clarke scored for the Blues, with Marcott, Campbell, Deegan, Nate Stone and Cole Jacquard scoring one assist each.

Standings

The Blues sit at the bottom of the Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League standings with two points, one win in 12 games.
