JC’s TaeKwon-do members earn 13 menas at eastern Canadian championships

AMHERST – On the weekend of Dec. 2, JC’s TaeKwon-Do took a team of seven competitors to Ottawa to compete in the 2017 ITF Eastern Canadian TaeKwon-Do Championships.

The team was entered in a total of 14 divisions, winning five gold, six silver and two bronze medals.

The team consisted of: Monique Flynn, winning silver in senior women’s first degree patterns and in senior women’s middle weight sparring; Sue Smith, winning bronze in senior qomen’s first degree patterns and gold in senior women’s hyper-weight sparring; Brandon Arseneault, winning silver in both pre-junior men’s first degree patterns and pre-junior heavyweight sparring; Jessica Liebmann, winning silver in junior women’s red belt patterns and gold in junior women’s heavyweight sparring; Xavier Hart, winning bronze in pre-junior men’s blue belt patterns and gold in pre-junior men’s blue belt sparring;

Nathaniel White, winning gold in peewee boys blue belt patterns and silver in peewee boys blue belt sparring and Kaden Wilson, winning gold in peewee boys green belt sparring
