AMHERST, N.S. – The Amherst Athletics Bantam A baseball team downed the Westville Padres 2-0 during doubleheader action Saturday at Robb’s Centennial Complex in Amherst.

Game 1

Amherst won the first game 7-6.

Madden Miller and Jayden Matheson hit three singles each for the Athletics, Zac Boudreau hit two singles, Kyle McCarthy hit one double, and Matthew Hunter hit one single.

Game 2

The Athletics started the second game with a five-run first inning, and went on to win the game 8-5.

Boudreau hit a triple and a single, and Miller, Matheson, Hunter, Isaac VanSnick and Nick Baigent hit one single each.
