Sprott wins one, loses one in B-system play

AMHERST – Amherst Little League B-system action continued Monday and Tuesday.

Sprott Power beat Sobeys 7-5 on Monday, and then Sprott lost 17-9 to Harrisons Home Hardware on Tuesday.

Phoenix Remington and Kieren Sears hit three singles each to lead Harrisons to a 17-9 win over Sprott.

Springhill’s Carter Sharpe hit a double, while Sebastian DiMichele and Springhill’s Mattix McBurnie hit two singles each, and Springhill’s Aiden McBurnie hit one single for Harrisons.

Burke Beed led Sprott with two doubles and a single and Tyrell Porter hit two singles.

Michael Noiles, Chase Harrison, Logan Pipes and Chloe LeBlanc hit one single each for Sprott.

Kyler Edwards hit one double and two singles for Sprott in the 7-5 win and Ethan Rose and Kieran Sears hit two singles each.

Bryson Chapman, Reece MacDonald, Jackson Reid, John Adams and Phoenix Remington hit one single each.

Noiles hit three singles for Sobeys, while Mandel Nickerson hit a double, and Alex Herrett and Liam Strickland hit two singles each.

Harrison, Colby Mills, Callum Chitty and Pipes hit one single each.
