ADVOCATE – The little seaside community of Advocate is big on delivering praise and congratulations to athletes at the Advocate District School.
The school held its awards banquet Tuesday, recognizing its standouts from another successful year over the 2013-2-14 school year.
Following are this year’s recipients:
Ryan Collins – Leadership in Track and Field
Patrick Fletcher – Mike Caldwell Memorial Award for Sr. Boys Athlete of the Year, Most Improved in Track and Field, and MVP in Cross Country.
Jacob Wilson – Leadership in Sr. Boys Basketball
Nathan Nuttall – Jr. Boys Athlete of the Year
Kayleigh Mills – Dedication Award in Sr. Girls Softball
Oliva Fletcher – Most Improved Player Sr. Girls Soccer, Leadership Award

Members of the mini girls basketball team were also honored with participation medals. The members of the team are Jenna MacGillivary, Victoria Fletcher, Dominique Morris, Maddie Phinney, Kylee Mosher, Brooke Nuttall, Elizabeth Berry, Chloe McCully, and Lauren Mills.
