my deepest sympathy and thoughts go out to the family, back in the day when I was an employee of the Town of Amherst, in August of 1997 my father passed away in PEI, at the time of the funeral Joyce dressed in her best Town of Amherst garb along with Deputy Chief Jack Ripley attended the funeral, people have no idea how much this met to me and my family, there were so many comments made by my family and people attending the funeral that the Mayor of Amherst and the Deputy would attend this funeral , Joyce and Jack even had the time to attend my family home talking with family members and mingling among with family and friends, this act of kindess will never be forgotten, may you Joyce, Jack, Dorren rest in peace
