March Break event attracts gymnasts from N.S. and P.E.I.

The Amherst Aerials performed well at the club's March Break meet at ARHS.

AMHERST – The Amherst Aerials hosted another successful March Break Invitational over the weekend with close to 300 participants from Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.

Members of the Aerials put in a number of solid performances, finishing at or near the top in various classes.

Top finishers included:

Mikayla Horton - Argo 1, 6th on bars and 6th on floor

Jessica Landry Tyro 1, Vault 5th, bars- 2nd, beam 4th, Floor 3rd and overall - 2nd

Emily Bacon - Tyro 1, Beam 1st

Felicia Landry - Open 2, Vault - 5th, Bars - 1st - Beam - 3rd, floor 3rd, overall 1st

Megan Cole - Open 2, Beam 4th

Kirsten Mason – Beam - 6th, floor 6th

Kirsten Lawrence - Bars 3rd, and Overall 4th

Kirsten Mason was Open 2, Kirsten Lawrence Tyro 2

Nicole Bailey - Novice 1, Vault 2nd, Bars -1st, Beam 3rd, overall 1st

Imogen Quinn - Novice 1, Vault 1st, Floor 1st, overall 4th

Emily Tower - Novice 1, Beam 6th
