Christena Yorke
HALIFAX / DILIGENT RIVER – Christena J. “Chrissie” Yorke, age 87 of Halifax, and formerly of Diligent River passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Arborstone Enhanced Care, Halifax. Born in Diligent River, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Alice (Salter) Manuge. She is survived by a daughter, Susan “Sue” (Les) Moulton, Halifax; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Clayton in 2015. Visitation will be held 12-2 p.m. on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro, where funeral service will follow at 2 p.m., the Rev. Brock Shaver officiating.
