AMHERST - A 31-year-old Tidnish man is facing charges after a search of a home in Tidnish early Friday.
The search was conducted by members of the Cumberland County Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit (SCEU), which is made up of members of the Cumberland RCMP and Amherst Police Department.
A quantity of marihuana and a small amount of methamphetamine were located at the residence.
The man, who is from Tidnish, was released from police custody a short time after his arrest and is set to appear in Amherst Provincial Court on February 12, 2018.
He is facing charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking.
