SPRINGHILL – The Springhill Institution remains on lockdown as staff investigate information that was received about potential contraband.
The lockdown began on Nov. 16 at approximately 4:30 p.m.
Normal operations will resume as soon as it is considered safe to do so.
Visits have been suspended for the weekend.
CSC is committed to preventing the entry of contraband into its institutions.
