Owen Phillip Nicholle, 47, of Amherst, will return to court in the new year after pleading guilty to one count of failing to comply with a probation order.
The Crown has requested a pre-sentence report.
Nicholle will return for the report and sentencing at 1:30 p.m. on Jan. 11, 2010.
The incident occurred between May 14 and July 8, 2002, in Amherst.
Streatch fined for illegal tobacco
Donald J. Streatch, 47, of South Side Rd., Stewiacke, was fined more than $2,100 after changing his plea to guilty to one count each of possession of unstamped tobacco and possession of tobacco with unpaid tax.
Streatch was given a $500 fine, or seven days in custody, for the unstamped tobacco charge, and $1,604.20, or 25 consecutive days in custody, for the untaxed tobacco charge.
He has until Nov. 18, 2010, to pay the fines.
The incident occurred June 21, 2009, in Springhill.
Clarke changes plea to failing breathalyser
Hugh Embert Clarke, 79, of 602 Main St., Parrsboro, was fined $1,100 after changing his plea to guilty to one count of failing the breathalyser.
Clarke has until Nov. 18, 2010, to pay the fine, or spend 16 days in custody.
He was also given a 12-month driving prohibition and can apply for the ignition interlock device program following 90 days of the prohibition if he chooses.
The incident occurred May 10, 2009, in Parrsboro.
Bowden pleads guilty to probation breach
Ashley Marie Bowden, 25, of 144 West Victoria St., Amherst, was given a probation order after entering a guilty plea to one count of failing to comply with a probation order.
Her four-month sentence comes with 75 hours of community service, to be completed within the first three months of the probation order.
The incident occurred Sept. 24, 2009, in Amherst.
Rushton sentenced to probation
Billy Joe Rushton, 18, of 74 East Pleasant St., Amherst, was given a suspended sentence of probation after pleading guilty in October to one count each of unlawful entry to a dwelling and theft under $5,000.
For the unlawful entry charge, Rushton was given a 12-month probation order. He was given a one-month concurrent probation order for the theft charge.
Each count also comes with a $50 victim fine surcharge, and he has been ordered to give a $250 donation to the Cumberland YMCA.
The money is to be paid by May 14, 2010.

Broderick sentenced to custody
Trevor Daniel Broderick, 22, an inmate in Springhill Institution, was sentenced to four months custody after pleading guilty in October to two counts of assaulting a correctional officer.
Broderick was given the same sentence for each count, concurrent to one another and other sentences he's presently serving.
The incidents occurred June 17, 2009, in Springhill.
Clark pleads guilty to uttering threats
Justin Morris Clark, 21, an inmate in Springhill Institution, was sentenced to a total of six months custody after pleading guilty to a number of charges.
Clark entered guilty pleas to three counts of uttering a threat to cause death, and one count each of uttering a threat to cause bodily harm and possession of a weapon.
Clark was given two one-month consecutive custody sentences and one one-month concurrent custody sentence for the death threat charges, and one one-month consecutive custody sentences for each of the other two criminal charges.
The incidents occurred April 24, 2009, in Springhill.
Clark also pleaded guilty to one count of uttering a threat to cause bodily harm, and was sentenced to two months consecutive custody.
The incident occurred Oct. 6, 2009, in Springhill.
The consecutive sentences are all consecutive to one another and any sentences he's presently serving.
