AMHERST - The Cumberland County Integrated Street Crime Unit executed a search warrant at a home Nov. 22, in Amherst, seizing a quantity of prescription medication, stolen property, and two prohibited weapons.
As a result of the search, 24-year-old Michael Douglas Richard of River Hebert was arrested and charged with two counts each of possessing a prohibited weapon, possession of a Schedule 1 substance and failing to comply with a prohibition order as well as single counts of mischief and possessing stolen property.
Richard was released and is scheduled to appear in Amherst Provincial Court on December 18, 2017.
