Theodore Nicoletopoulos, 50, of Waterview Drive, Coxheath, is alleged to have committed the offences between September 2016 and March.

The fraud charge alleges that Nicoletopoulos defrauded Papa Dino’s Pizza Ltd. by depositing debit card and online transactions into an Island Greek Donair business account. The amount involved equals $84,000.

The warrant was issued Thursday after Cape Breton Regional Police investigators made a request to provincial court Judge Brian Williston.

Police alleged that Nicoletopoulos was deliberately avoiding contact with police who had made numerous attempts to contact the accused without success.

The warrant was issued as unendorsed, meaning the accused will have to appear before a judge before being released.

According to the provincial business registry, Papa Dino’s was first registered in Nova Scotia in 2005. The company’s registered office and mailing address is the same as the accused. Nicoletopoulos is listed as the company’s registered agent.
