Police charge three as a result of search of Gatekeeper clubhouse in New Glasgow

Police have laid several charges as a result of a search warrant executed on July 15 at the Pictou County chapter of the Gatekeepers Motorcycle Club on MacLean Street in New Glasgow.

The search warrant was executed by Pictou County Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit (PCISCEU) with assistance from the New Glasgow Regional Police, Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Stellarton Police Service, Criminal Intelligence Service of Nova Scotia and the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit.

Police have charged a 51 year-old New Glasgow man and a 54 year-old man from Debert with illegally keeping liquor for sale.

In addition, police have charged a 52 year-old man from New Glasgow, with three counts of possession of a controlled substance and illegally keeping liquor for sale.

Police also continue to investigate the seizure of a prohibited weapon that was seized from the clubhouse.
