PUGWASH, N.S. – Fun-filled competitions were carried out at the 2018 HarbourFest on Saturday.
First there was the Sand Sculpture competition, which had three categories; Family, Teen and Children.
In the end, it was the Starkes Family of Stratford PEI winning in the Family category, the East Coast Partiers winning in the Teen category, and the Sandy Buns winning in the children’s category.
The Late Bloomers and the Cottagers were second and third in the family category, and the Bollong Family received an honourable mention.
The Shell Phones came in second in the teen category.
Also on Saturday, firefighters from throughout Cumberland County competed in the Firefighter Olympics, while other people competed in the volleyball tournament.
