AMHERST – More ER closures are coming up at Cumberland County’s three collaborative emergency centres.
North Cumberland Memorial CEC in Pugwash will see six closures in the coming week beginning Friday and including Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The ER at All Saints CEC in Springhill will be closed from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14; Tuesday, Oct. 17 and Wednesday, Oct. 18; while the ER will be closed at the South Cumberland CEC in Parrsboro on Saturday, Oct. 14; Sunday, Oct. 15 and Monday, Oct. 16 from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The closures are because there is no physician to provide medical coverage.
The overnight coverage is not impacted.
