Fisher sentenced to custody
Izea Eden Fisher, 19, of Amherst, was sentenced to two-years custody after pleading guilty to trafficking methamphetamines on Oct. 27, 2017.
Fisher was also sentenced to 30-days concurrent custody after pleading guilty to careless use of a firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm, possessing a firearm with the serial number removed. Those incidents occurred Aug. 18, 2017.
Fisher received a further 30-days concurrent custody after pleading guilty to a count of mischief on Sept. 15, 2017.
All of the incidents occurred in Amherst.
Lambert ordered to repay Dept. Community Services
Mildred Lee Frene Lambert, 47, of Westchester, was handed 18 months probation and ordered to pay $5,000 in restitution after pleading guilty to defrauding the Nova Scotia Dept. of Community Services.
Lambert was also fined a further $200.
The incidents occurred between Sept. 11, 2013, and Sept. 14, 2015.
Rushton fined
Cindy Marie Rushton, 56, of Amherst, of Pugwash, was handed a conditional discharge, 12 months probation and fined $100 after pleading guilty to assault.
The incident occurred July 18, 2017, in Pugwash.
