McNamara given more time
Dylan Nicholas McNamara, 19, of Fredericton, N.B., was handed three months concurrent custody to time currently being served after pleading guilty to committing an act of mischief by damaging a sink belonging to Springhill Institution.
The incident occurred Jan. 8, 2018, in Springhill.
Pye sentencing in June
Percy Irving Pye, 58, of Stanley, will return to court June 4, for sentencing after pleading guilty to breaching a recognizance to remain within the province.
The incident occurred March 31, 2017.
Pye will also be sentenced June 4 for a count of sexual assault stemming from a March 10, 2017 incident that occurred in Stanley, and a count of breaching a no-contact order on March 28, 2017, in Amherst.
Pye plead guilty to all charges.
Rushton handed intermittent custody
Byard Anthony Rushton, 49, of Springhill, was sentenced to 90-days intermittent custody after pleading guilty to a count of assault causing bodily harm. As part of the sentencing, Rushton was fined $200, handed 12 months probation, ordered to provide a DNA sample and handed a lifetime weapons prohibition.
The incident occurred Nov. 1, 2016, in Springhill.
Stevens loses hunting privileges
Cody James Stevens, 25, of Wentworth, was fined $1,057.50, and suspended from hunting for two years after pleading guilty to unlawful possession of a deer carcass, possession of a loaded firearm inside a vehicle and unlawful transportation of an uncases firearm in a wildlife habitat. The incident occurred Nov. 5, 2016, in Williamsdale.
Hollis fined
Roger Charles Hollis, 50, of Springhill, was handed a 12-month condition sentence, a 24-month driving prohibition and fined $1,200 after pleading guilty to refusing the breathalyzer and evading police.
The incident occurred Aug. 26, 2016, in Springhill.
