Budd handed probation

Dorothy Mae Budd, 39, of Brookdale, was handed 12-months probation after pleading guilty to assault.
The incident occurred Sept. 24, 2017, in Brookdale.

Curry prohibited from driving

Breanna Lee Curry, 22, of Wentworth, was handed 12-months probation, a two-year driving prohibition and fined $100 after pleading guilty to impaired operation of a moto vehicle and operating a motor vehicle while disqualified.

The incidents occurred Feb. 1, 2017, in Amherst.

Fitzpatrick pleads guilty

Nickolas Jay Allen Fitzpatrick, 22, of Amherst, was handed a conditional discharge, nine-months probation and fined $100 after pleading guilty to attempting to evade police while operating a motor vehicle.

The incident occurred Feb. 18, 2017, in Amherst.

Johnston returns to court in April

Caleb Austin Johnston, 19, of Oxford Junction, was prohibited from driving for two years after pleading guilty to operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol concentration in excess of .08 per cent.

Johnston will return to court Apr. 9, 2018, to learn the remainder of their sentencing.

Lake to return to court in April

Shane Robert Lake, 25, of Amherst, will return to court Apr. 9, after pleading guilty to:

• breaching a probation order to attend counselling between Sept. 12, 2014 and Nov. 20, 2014

• failing to attend court July 11, 2016

• failing to attend court Dec. 5, 2016

• breaching a probation order to abide by a curfew Apr. 6, 2015

All of the incidents occurred in Amherst.

Laurie pleads guilty

Tyler Douglas Laurie, 23, of Springhill, will return to court April 16 for sentencing, after pleading guilty to operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol concentration in excess of .08 per cent, and attempting to evade police.

The incident occurred Apr. 27, 2017, in Little Forks.

Stevens fined, loses firearms

Dale Jacob Stevens, 29, of Pugwash, was fined $650 and handed a forfeiture order after pleading guilty to failing to properly secure two rifles and two shotguns.
Stevens was also fined a further $390, handed 12-months probation and a 10-year firearm prohibition after pleading guilty to unlawfully producing marijuana.

The incidents occurred Sept. 20, 2016, in Pugwash.
