Amos pleads guilty

Katie-Lynn Morris Amos, 27, of Springhill, will return to court for a status update, after pleading guilty to failing to pay restitution in the amount of $879.88.
The incident occurred Dec. 20, 2017, in Amherst.

Brander fined $1,300

Robert Arthur Brander, 66, of Shinimicas, was fined $1,300 and prohibited from driving for 12 months after pleading guilty to refusing the breathalyzer.

Paul Andrew Brown, 51, of Amherst, was fined $1,300 and prohibited from driving for 12 months after pleading guilty to operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol concentration in excess of .08 per cent.

MacPherson-Burke pleads guilty to stealing gas

Michele MacPherson-Burke, 30, of Pugwash, will return to court June 11 for sentencing after pleading guilty to a charge of stealing gasoline on Feb. 15, 2018, in Amherst Shore, and again on Jan. 2, 2018, in Pugwash.

Laurie fined

Tyler Douglas Laurie, 23, of Springhill, was fined $2,050 and prohibited from driving for 18 months after pleading guilty to operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol concentration in excess of .08 per cent, and evading police.

Smith admits to threatening dog

Michael Douglas Smith, 24, of Amherst, will return to court Jun 18, after pleading guilty to uttering a threat to kill someone’s dog.
