Special award for a special person

Springhill is internationally known for its mining heritage, and for 25 years its been Roberta McMasters (centre) who has been an ambassador to that international audience when it visits the Springhill Miners Museum. On January 9th McMaster’s dedication to the museum was recognized during a Cumberland South PC Riding Association social, with Springhill Mining Heritage Society VP Troy Henwood and Cumberland South MLA Jamie Baillie presenting Roberta with a 25-year certificate on behalf of the province of Nova Scotia
