Police arrested three individuals from New Brunswick in Springhill on Thursday and charged two following the theft fo several vehicles in Sussex, N.B.
SPRINGHILL – Springhill Police and the Cumberland Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit, with the assistance of the Cumberland RCMP conducted a joint investigation into the theft of several vehicles originating in the Sussex, N.B. on Thursday.
During the investigation, a suspect fled from police in a stolen vehicle within the town of Springhill. Police eventually located two stolen vehicles in Springhill and arrested three New Brunswick residents.
Thomas Ryan Gregg, 26, of Piccadilly, N.B. is facing one count of possession of a stolen motor vehicle over $5,000, and two counts of failing to comply with a undertaking.
Evan George Irvine, 19, of Moncton is facing one count of possession of a stolen motor vehicle over $5,000, flight from police, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, and breach of probation.
The two accused were remanded into custody and will reappear on Monday, to face the charges.
The third party arrested was released without charge.
The investigations remain open in both Springhill and in Sussex, where the offenses originated.
