Domestic burning ban downgraded to restricted

AMHERST – A province-wide ban on domestic brush burning has been downgraded to restricted.

Domestic brush burning is now allowed, but only between 7 p.m. and 8 a.m. for safety reasons.

Burning brush and camp fires in Nova Scotia is not permitted in any county from 8 in the morning (8 a.m.) to 2 in the afternoon (2 p.m.).
