LeBlanc/White family planning reunion this summer

SAINT-JACQUES, N.B. – Acadians from around the world who are related to the LeBlanc family (sometimes changed to White) are invited to a family reunion which will take place during the Congrès Mondial Acadien in August.

The reunion will be held at the arena, Le Palladium, in Saint-Jacques, N.B. on Saturday, Aug. 16 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The one-day bilingual reunion will include social exchanges between the descendants of Daniel LeBlanc and Françoise Gaudet, a conference on a historical aspect of the LeBlanc family given by genealogist, Stephen White, genealogical booths organized by families, children’s activities, and Cajun music.

Food and beverages will be available on site, with some interesting Acadian dishes on the menu.

All LeBlanc/White descendants are invited to make plans to attend the reunion this coming August.
