AMHERST – Cumbelrand Coounty is one of the few not restricting domestic brish burning, but that could change later today.

For now, domestic bruch burning is allowed between 2 p.m. and 8 a.m. to the follow day. The restiction applies to camp fires, which cannot be lit until this afternoon.

High temperatures in the region could move the time permitted for buring to 7 p.m. if Cumberland County moves to a restricted status like much of the province.
