Halifax police say speed likely factor in crash on Highway 102 exit, man seriously injured

HALIFAX - A 23-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash on an exit to Highway 102 on Sunday night.

Police were called to the single-vehicle accident at 9:10 p.m. on the ramp to Exit 1A near Halifax.

The driver was taken to the QEII hospital by paramedics and is listed in serious condition.

A cause for the accident isn’t known, but police believe speed was a factor.
