Cumberland Child Advocacy Association offering bursaries

AMHERST – The Cumberland Child Advocacy Association is offering $500 busaries for graduating high school students across the county.

Successful applicants will be ones who demonstrate a strong commitment to school and community initiatives, plans to continue their studies in post-secondary education and experiencing financial hardships and has demonstrated a commitment to overcome them through continued education, hard work and perseverance.

Students can go to their high school guidance counselors for more information or go to http://www.cumberlandchild.ca/bursaries and download an application form.

There are also some other bursaries from community partners there.
