The funeral for Reva Gray is Saturday at Campbell's Funeral Home

AMHERST – The former chairwoman of the Amherst Board of Police Commissioners has passed away following a lengthy illness.

Reva Gray, 57, died Monday at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre.

Gray was a longtime employee at IMP as a program manager and she was very active with the Girl Guides.

She served a term on the town’s police commission and was its chairwoman.

Gray is survived by her husband Isaac; son, Erik; and daughter, Keri LeBlanc as well as four grandchildren; two brothers, a step-brother, brother-in-law, several nieces, nephews and an extended family.

Funeral service is Saturday at 2 p.m. at Campbell’s Funeral Home with Ruth Gamble officiating.

Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Immanuel United Church or the Shriners Hospital.
