AMHERST – Families came out on Friday night to celebrate a brand new summer, the summer of 2018.
The 'Celebrate Summer Kickoff' at Dickey Park was hosted by the Town of Amherst, along with the Town of Amherst Police Department, which hosted a bike rodeo for kids.
The Atlantic Kite Festival of Halifax had kite flying demonstrations, while the bike rodeo included the Trail Flow Portable Park, which simulates elements found on a real mountain bike trail.
