SPRINGHILL, N.S. – Firefighters responded to a fire at an abandoned building, formerly the Lamp Cabin Dining Room and Lounge, in Springhill Friday morning at 5:09 a.m.

Firefighters are still on the scene of the fire located at the bottom of Junction Road.

Junction Road north of the Highway 142 connector is currently blocked off to traffic by the RCMP.
