Cumberland County Integrated Street Crime Unit, with the assistance of the Cumberland District RCMP, searched a home on Tyndal Road Feb. 22. Three adults and a child were located inside at the time.
The three adults were arrested and a search of the residence turned up a quantity of crystal methamphetamine, cocaine, oxycodone pills, cannabis marihuana, firearm ammunition and drug trafficking paraphernalia.
Jamie Ross Trenholm, 31, of East Amherst was held in custody and will be taken to court Feb. 23 on the following charges:
· Possession of crystal methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking
· Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
· Possession of oxycodone for the purpose of trafficking
· Possession of marihuana
· Fail to comply with bail conditions (4 counts)
· Fail to comply with a firearm prohibition order
Nicole Ann Canton, 31, of East Amherst, was released and is scheduled to attend Amherst Provincial Court on March 26, on the following charges:
· Possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking
· Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
· Possession of oxycodone for the purpose of trafficking
· Possession of marihuana
A 46-year-old man was released from custody without charges.
The investigation is ongoing.
