Brine pleads guilty

Jeremy Leigh Brine, 45, of Lower Cove, will return to court Oct. 2, for sentencing, after pleading guilty to three counts of unauthorized possession of firearms and three counts of unsafe storage of firearms.

The incidents occurred June 15, 2017, in Lower Cover.

Brine will also be sentenced Oct. 2, for one count of uttering a death threat.

That incident occurred June 14, 2017, in Lower Cover.

Brine was sentenced to six months probation, fined $650 and handed a 10-year firearms prohibiting after pleading guilty to unlawfully producing marijuana.

That incident occurred June 15, 2017, in Lower Cove.

 

Wharton loses license

Michael Scott Canning, 27, of Wharton, was fined $1,950 and prohibited from driving for one year after pleading guilty to operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol concentration in excess of .08 per cent.

The incident occurred June 13, 2017, in Wharton.

 

Huston fined $1,300

Shane Arthur Huston, 48, of Oxford, was fined $1,300 and prohibited from driving for one year after pleading guilty to operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol concentration in excess of .08 per cent.

That incident occurred July 8, 2017, in Oxford.

 

Maddison sentenced to community service

Arthur Daniel Maddison, 37, of Springhill, was handed a suspended sentence, 18 months probation, and ordered to perform 50 hours community service, after pleading guilty to possession of stolen property.
The incident occurred Oct. 6, 2016, in Nappan.

 

Oulto to be sentenced in October

Brandon Thomas Oulton, 27, will return to court Oct. 2, for sentencing, after pleading guilty to operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol concentration in excess of .08 per cent.

The incident occurred May 21, 2017, in Thompson Station.

 

Pellerin pleads guilty

May Elizabeth Pellerin, 25, of Amherst, will return to court Oct. 2, for sentencing, after pleading guilty to a count of assault.

The incident occurred May 31, 2017, in Amherst.

 

Porter handed $1,300 fine

Vincent William Porter, 35, of Springhill, was fined $1,300, handed a six-month conditional sentence, or prohibited from driving for 12 months after pleading guilty to operating a motor vehicle while disqualified.

The incident occurred April 7, 2017, on the Valley Road.
