HUNTER RIVER. P.E.I. - Theresa Kelly lived out a lifelong dream of riding in a hot-air balloon thanks to her granddaughter, Tara Fulop, who took her out Thursday.

The 90-year-old Stanchel woman, who has always wanted to see where she lived from the air, told her granddaughter that she would like to go up in a hot-air balloon or helicopter.

After a previously planned helicopter trip fell through, P.E.I. Balloon Adventures in Hunter River provided the ride, taking off from a small field a few kilometres away from the community.
