I have almost nothing to report. Been a quiet Christmas here.

We had family from Pugwash Junction, Pugwash, Fredericton, Halifax and Amherst Shore here for Christmas Eve turkey supper and gifts.

Mike Foley spent some of the holidays visiting his grandchildren in Halifax area. The Rolfes spent some time at the Fundy shore.

Christmas day was kind of miserable weather wise so I expect that put a crimp in travel plans. Something to work around I’m sure.

The Walking Club got out that evening (after all it was Monday) but it was a sparse group for sure.

Stewart Chapman is in Springhill hospital. Seems his legs are not working.

A few have been asking about him so there you go.

Ruth Collins of Cumberland Productions has a new play on her schedule - The Little Mermaid but it won’t roll onto Capitol Theatre’s stage till May so when I know more I will share.

Christine Carty has moved to the Meadow Vista Complex up Main Street, but I am sure everyone knows that.

That is all I can remember at this time. We don’t do New Year’s Eve stuff (too old) but for those who do be sure and have a wonderful time and stay safe.

Talk more in 2018.
