Church opens for season on Good Friday

The Diligent River United Baptist Church will hold its opening service for the season on Good Friday, March 30 at 2 p.m. It is hoped that many will come out in support of the church as there were no services all winter. Martha Forrest will provide the music with her guitar.

Condolences are sent to the McCully family on the loss of mother Paulette.

Robbery is something we never had to deal with in the small village until this past winter. Rings, cash and personal belongings to be on their most wanted list.

The flu shot doesn’t seem to slow the sickness as many in this area have been affected,

including the children.

Today looks like spring but don’t forget your coat when you go outside.
