About 90 people gathered at the FPW Fire Hall for the Shore Drive Association's annual community Christmas supper.
The meal was delicious and everyone seemed to be enjoying the event.
Leah Ells was the lucky winner of the 50/50 draw while Layton Yorke won the Arlene Collins print and Pam Harvey won the Canada 150 quilt.
The Living Christmas Tree will perform at Grace United church on Saturday, Dec. 9 and Sunday, Dec. 10 at Grace United Church beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Dave and Friends will entertain with Christmas music at the Diligent River hall on Saturday, Dec. 17, beginning at 7 p/m.
Admission will be a free will offering at the door.
Our community is beginning to be decorated very beautifully. It is so nice to drive around and see all the lights in the community and along the Parrsboro shore.
Now, the Foxy Lady would like to see some snow arrive before Christmas to transform this area into a winter wonderland.
The students will soon be going on Christmas holidays Dec. 22. It would be great if the weather man could bring some snow for sledding, skiing, snow shoeing and so on.
The Foxy Lady is out of news for now. Have a great week everyone.
