Under Joys & Concerns it was noted that the villa was under quarantine making visiting difficult. We are asked to keep the family of the late Jean Porter in our prayers. On a happier note, Austin Rose will be 97 in April and is still very much involved with the square dance activity.

Final plans for the Chignecto Presbyterial Annual Meeting are in place and they include workshops, craft tables, a luncheon and a service. There will also be a memorial presentation to honor those UCW members who passed away in 2016.

The Lenten project put on by the Sunday school is a fundraiser to help purchase a doppler ABI ultrasound machine for the VON. For every $10. raised a butterfly will be placed in the sanctuary. A flower used in the same way will represent a $50 donation.

Supply chairperson Carol Bennett has collected a number of glasses, pop tabs, greeting cards, Campbell labels, bread tabs, and used stamps and has dispersed them to the proper persons.

Publicity chairperson Beth reported that the February minutes had been in the Amherst paper and she was working on the UCW scrapbook bringing it up to date. She reported that Erica would again design the rummage/yard sale posters.

The Muffin Morning held on March11 was a great success with special thanks to Jim Scopie for his music and his name that tune game.

Kathy Curtis mentioned that the Council of Elders are working on several projects such as the church membership roll, tellers lists and so. They plan to meet with other church committees so that everyone will continue to work together for a more efficient running church. Please note that any concerns can be placed on the White Board in Burgess Hall or can be directed to a council member.

With the unit reports came suggestions for fundraisers by each of the units.
