AMHERST - Rain on Thursday afternoon has postponed one Nova Scotia Intermediate Baseball League game and moved two others.
The Amherst Dooly's Coors Light Silver Bullets were set to host the Maccan Royals at Robb's Centennial Complex last night, but the game was called off because of the wet weather.
The teams were also scheduled to play a doubleheader in Maccan on Sunday beginning at 1 p.m., but Royals coach Darren Collins said the games would be moved to Amherst.
"Given the amount of rain we got Thursday, there's no way the field in Maccan would be dried out in time," he said.
Thursday evening's game is tentatively rescheduled for 6 p.m., Tuesday in Amherst.
